Welcome to Hitsburg USA!
Photo: Anne Streng Known informally as The Fleshtones Hall of Fame, here is your virtual home for The Fleshtones, the four most exciting men in rock & roll. Since the summer of 1976 The Fleshtones have been blending rock & roll with R&B, and garage with dance and serving it from town to town across the globe with a smile, a great attitude, and lots of late-night sweat. For years, they've simply called it Super Rock.

The Fleshtones are Peter Zaremba (vocals, harmonica, & organ), Keith Streng (guitar & vocals), Bill Milhizer (drums & vocals), and Ken Fox (bass & vocals). Based in Brooklyn, New York, the quartet's origins lie just a few miles north in Queens, where in 1975 Streng and original bass player Marek Pakulski rented "The House," as it was infamously known, and found instruments down in the basement. To quote Keith: "How and why The Fleshtones started was that there was a place to do it!" Countless "Blue Whale Bashes," Lower East Side sightings, and an endless string of gigs and records later, The Fleshtones continue to record and perform with a wit, passion, and energy that few bands can top.

Remember, The Fleshtones can't change their luck, but they can change your mind! Come on in, and let's have a good time!

  Spanish Tour  26 January 2012
The Fleshtones return to Spain this weekend for a two week blast around the Iberian peninsula. While in Gijon up in the north the band will take time out to record three songs at the analogue recording studio operated by Jorge from Dr Explosion. More news on that soon. In the meantime check out the Gigs page for the Spanish tour itinerary.

The Fleshtones love Paris in the springtime  18 December 2011
Actually, they love it pretty much all year round but you can catch them in the City of Light again on March 8th. Mind you there may still be a chill in the air at the beginning of March but one should be positive. From there it's a trip around France before heading towards Roma at the end of the month. The latest itinerary can be found on the Gigs page. Book your time off work now!
